My son bought the book Quiet Strength by Tony Dungy after hearing about it from Mr. Russell.

I started reading it last night and I can't put it down. I have not gotten very far into but hope to later tonight.

Can't wait to find out more. I am also purchasing Parenting With Love and Logic as my next reading project.

Thanks,

Mendi

These are inspiring words. As parents, Denise and I try regularly to have our boys think about something in a way that attaches itself to a value. "Was not listening to the teacher a respectful behavior?" Tailoring a child's thinking so that it becomes automatic to "make the right choice" takes intentional repeating and reinforcing to get him/her there. Before too long, you get a response from the back seat on the way to the soccer game, "Dad, I'm not too worried about winning the game, but just being part of the team." I need to get Mr. Dungy's book. ~ Jay
